Add a question

Select Add question and choose a type. The new question appears after the currently selected question. You can:
  • change the question wording;
  • add help text;
  • change its type;
  • add or remove answer choices;
  • make it required;
  • duplicate it;
  • drag it to a new position;
  • delete it and undo the deletion for a short time.
Forms support up to 100 questions. Choice questions support up to 100 choices.

Advanced settings

Open Response validation and advanced settings on a question to set:
  • the internal response name;
  • placeholder text;
  • minimum or maximum text length;
  • minimum or maximum number;
  • accepted file types and file size;
  • a condition based on an earlier question;
  • hidden context.
The response name connects a website input to the correct Jobing question. Avoid changing it after you have placed the native form on a website unless you also update that website.

Hidden context

A hidden field stores information visitors do not see, such as:
  • summer_campaign;
  • a service name;
  • a page source;
  • a client code.
This helps you understand where a response came from. Do not use hidden fields for secrets. A visitor can inspect page code.

Automatic saving

The toolbar shows:
  • Saving soon after an edit;
  • Saving while the update is sent;
  • Saved with the current version;
  • Save failed when you need to retry.
If the form changed elsewhere, Jobing avoids silently overwriting the newer version. Refresh the editor and repeat your change on the latest draft.
