Add a File upload question when a visitor needs to provide a document or image.

Supported files

  • JPEG, PNG, and WebP images;
  • PDF files;
  • plain text files;
  • Microsoft Word files;
  • Microsoft Excel files.

Size limits

  • each file question can allow a maximum of 1 MB or 2 MB;
  • a submission can include up to 3 MB across all uploaded files.
You can restrict a question to particular file types.

Where files appear

The signed-in form owner can download files from the response inbox. The connected AI can receive:
  • the file name;
  • type;
  • size;
  • basic upload metadata.
It cannot read the file contents through Jobing.
Uploaded files are private, but they are not currently malware-scanned. Download and open files carefully, especially from unknown senders.

Design a useful application form

If you want the connected AI to compare important information, ask for that information as normal form questions too. For example, a résumé upload may be useful for human review. Add separate questions for years of experience, current role, portfolio address, key skills, and availability if you want AI-assisted summaries.
