# Run event and waitlist forms

> Collect registrations, preferences, applications, or early interest without building a separate system.

## Event registration

Ask for:

* attendee name and contact details;
* role or organization;
* session choices;
* dietary or accessibility needs;
* consent for event communication.

> Create an event page for a one-day founder workshop with a registration form. Ask for name, email, company stage, session choice, dietary needs, and one question for the speakers.

Set opening and closing times under [form behavior](/forms/logic-and-behavior).

## Waitlist

> Create a launch page and waitlist for my neighborhood meal service. Ask for area, household size, preferred meals, weekly ordering frequency, main concern, and email consent for launch updates.

Use a hidden context field when the same form appears on different campaign pages.

## Speaker, sponsor, or volunteer applications

Create separate forms when the questions and review process differ. Duplicate a strong form instead of editing the original.

## Important boundaries

Jobing can collect a preferred time, date, or ticket interest. It does not:

* confirm live calendar availability;
* reserve a seat against inventory;
* issue tickets;
* process event payments.

<Tip>
  Use a clear success message to explain whether the response is a confirmed registration or only a request.
</Tip>

Export attendees or connect [Google Sheets](/integrations/data-and-automation) when event staff need a shared list.
